It was yesterday

Healthy and strong

In every way

Now it's today

The past is gone

We try to hold on

To yesterday

But it's today

I'm not one, to dwell on the past

All I know is, it went by too fast

From here on in it's a race downhill

Upward battle with doctors and pills

No guarantees on this road we travel

Yesterdays gone - tomorrow who knows

Evil - exists, terrorists - communists
Seek to wipe away America today
Rule with an iron fist, Marxist - Leninist
