Eternal Thanksgiving

One of countless many
As sand upon the shore
Daughters, sons, angels
All children of the Lord

True love in its totality
One united glorious race
Eternal union as family
Beholding His Divine Face

We shall say "Our Father"
He will call us by our name
Then enter as one in glory
Father, child, hearts aflame

One of countless many
On fire, engulfed in His Love
Dwelling for ever as family
Garments white as the Dove

One of countless many
Forever praising His holy name
"Our Father" God of the living

The Teacher / Reflection - Luke 21: 5-19

Some see beauty from the outside looking in

A lifetime glamour story that will never end

Some dream of fantasies that will never be

As surrounding signs paint a picture contrary

Some seek wisdom questioning the Teacher

Their eyes see all the matters now at hand

Some listening to words placed much deeper

The Teacher guides the heart to understand

Watch out or one day you may go astray

Many liars will claim to come in my name

When you see great division upon the land

The times of the Teacher are now at hand

Rejoice! Behold the glory of the Son of Man

Worry not of the many rumors and of war

These things must all come to pass before

Signs from heaven promised will come true

Many will deliver you up and persecute you

You will not need any defense before hand

Liars will hear words they will not withstand

All men will then hate you for my name's sake

Evil destroyed crushing the head of the snake

Watch out or one day you may go astray

Many liars will claim to come in my name

If you knew the thief was at door
Would you let him in
If you knew the price you would pay
Would you ever sin
If you knew that the life hereafter
Had streets paved with gold
Would you just keep on keeping on
With all the nonsense you were sold
Today is the day of salvation

Within our hands we hold the key

Filled with joy and jubilation

Jesus the Lord --- has set us free

Gone are all the failings of the past

We are truly free

Gone are the burdens weighing down

A new day for you and me

Gone is the sadness and all the grief

Blessed with the faith to believe

The past has been washed away

It's now a new eve

Today is the day of salvation

Within our hands we hold the key

Filled with joy and jubilation
