Emmanuel

Today we hear the words of an angel
Bringing great tidings, peace and joy
Rejoice - Be not afraid; born this day
God's Son, "Jesus" - Mary's baby boy

Glory to God in the highest
Peace on earth among men
Glory to God in the highest
Rejoice, People of every land

Behold, I bring you good news
The light of the world is born to you
Savior and King, the angels rejoicing
Emmanuel - Emmanuel - Emmanuel - is born to you

Wrapped in swaddling clothes
Peacefully he lies in a manger
Bringing precious gifts and gold
Three Kings in awe of his splendor

Glory to God in the highest
Peace on earth among men
Glory to God in the highest
Rejoice, People of every land
Glory to God in the highest
Peace on earth among men
Glory to God in the highest
Born this day - is "Jesus" the Lamb

Behold, I bring you good news
The light of the world is born to you
Savior and King, the angels sing
Emmanuel - Emmanuel - I bring you good news
Emmanuel - Emmanuel - Baby Jesus is born to you

Baby Jesus

Oh, distant star
Seen from afar
Above, angelic voices sing
A star followed by kings
A light to fill the darkness
Foretold by prophets, shall appear
Among beast, a Babe, in Bethlehem
Oh, Bethlehem
Shepherd land
A beast filled stable
The greatest story ever told
Oh, humble land
Came forth the Son of Man
Above the choirs of angels sing
In the heavens, rejoicing
A light to fill the darkness
Foretold by prophets, shall appear
Among beast, a Babe, in Bethlehem
A child to rule the nations
Love piercing deeper than the sword
Babe born in Bethlehem, be adored
The baby Jesus, the Christ, the Lord
His light shall conquer all darkness
His word will set cold hearts aflame
Babe born in Bethlehem, be adored
The baby Jesus, the Christ, the Lord!

Come Holy Spirit

Two thousand ten years have past
The world keeps spinning very fast
It seems we may be loosing control
We've lost a step - lost our soul

There seems to be a feeling in the air
Many wondering if the time is near
Will heaven open up the pearly gates
Pour out the Spirit before it's too late

Come Holy Spirit fill the hearts of the faithful
Enkindle within us with the fire of you love
We shall be created anew - white as the dove

The fire of the Spirit is coming soon
As back in the day in the upper room
This time to many not to just a few
Praise God! The Spirit is coming soon

Come Holy Spirit fill the hearts of the faithful
Enkindle within us with the fire of you love
We shall be created anew - white as the dove

Let pearly gates swing open wide
Tongues of fire inflaming us inside
Empty hearts have plenty of room
Come Holy Spirit - please come soon

Fill the hearts of the faithful deep down inside
Let the fire of your love burn away our pride
White as the dove we'll be transformed anew
Come Holy Spirit - The world is waiting for you!!!

Fill My Senses Lord

Lord - Make of me a new creation, so I may see
Let the fragrance of your love, overpower me
Touch my heart beaten down, so I may start anew
Let your words fill my soul, that I my hear the truth

Only you Lord, are the way
Only you Lord, can ever save
Only you Lord, can restore me
Only with you Lord, will I taste victory

Glory, honor, thanksgiving, praise
To my Lord and God, to your holy name
Glory, honor, thanksgiving, praise
Fill my senses Lord, set my heart aflame

Lord - Help me find a new direction, guide me through
Strengthen me from all the forces, contrary to you
Heal me from my wariness, so I may take control
Without you Lord in my life, the world may steal my soul

Only you Lord, are the way
Only you Lord, can ever save
Only you Lord, can restore me
Only with you Lord, will I taste victory

Glory, honor, thanksgiving, praise
To my Lord and God, to your holy name
Glory, honor, thanksgiving, praise
Fill my senses Lord, set my heart aflame

Infant Jesus / A Christmas Song

Infant Jesus - Nestled away in a manger
Mother Mary - Caressing her babe at her side
As Joseph kneels in the straw in awe
A picture only the Father could have foresaw
In a stable as the animals lay near

Infant Jesus - Prophets foretold of your coming
Under a star - Kings would find you there
They did not gaze upon you as a stranger
But as the King of Kings in a manger
In a stable infant Jesus precious and dear

Infant Jesus - Cuddled in the arms of Mary
Son of God sent to a world gone astray
A child shepherds and Kings came to adore
The One the world has been waiting for
In a stable the Lord God would appear

Infant Jesus - Only Son of the Father
Born in a world that would never be the same
Generations have adored and sing praise
To the power and Glory of your holy name
In a stable to a child the choirs of angels sing
Born in a stable the babe Jesus King of Kings

Hail Mary - Be Not Afraid

Into Nazareth of Galilee
God sent the angel Gabriel
To Joseph's wife to be
Hail Mary - Mary - Mary - Mary
Be not afraid

Rejoice, highly favored one
Blessed among women
The Lord is with thee
Hail Mary - Mary - Mary - Mary
Be not afraid

Troubled she wondered
What this greeting might be
The angel said be not afraid
Hail Mary - Mary - Mary - Mary
Be not afraid

You've found favor with God
In your womb you will conceive
A son and will call his name "Jesus"
Hail Mary - Mary - Mary - Mary
Be not afraid

The Son of the Most High
So great his reign shall be
His Kingdom will be forever
Hail Mary - Mary - Mary - Mary
Be not afraid

I am a virgin how can this be
The Holy Spirit will come to you
The Most High overshadow you
The holy one who is born from you
He is a King the Son of God

Behold the handmaid of the Lord
Hail Mary - Mary - Mary - Mary
Be it done to me according to your word
Hail Mary - Mary - Mary - Mary
Be not afraid - Amen!

Eternal Thanksgiving

One of countless many
As sand upon the shore
Daughters, sons, angels
All children of the Lord

True love in its totality
One united glorious race
Eternal union as family
Beholding His Divine Face

We shall say "Our Father"
He will call us by our name
Then enter as one in glory
Father, child, hearts aflame

One of countless many
On fire, engulfed in His Love
Dwelling for ever as family
Garments white as the Dove

One of countless many
Forever praising His holy name
"Our Father" God of the living
Eternal feast, Eternal Thanksgiving

The Teacher / Reflection - Luke 21: 5-19

Some see beauty from the outside looking in
A lifetime glamour story that will never end
Some dream of fantasies that will never be
As surrounding signs paint a picture contrary

Some seek wisdom questioning the Teacher
Their eyes see all the matters now at hand
Some listening to words placed much deeper
The Teacher guides the heart to understand

Watch out or one day you may go astray
Many liars will claim to come in my name
When you see great division upon the land
The times of the Teacher are now at hand
Rejoice! Behold the glory of the Son of Man

Worry not of the many rumors and of war
These things must all come to pass before
Signs from heaven promised will come true
Many will deliver you up and persecute you

You will not need any defense before hand
Liars will hear words they will not withstand
All men will then hate you for my name's sake
Evil destroyed crushing the head of the snake

Watch out or one day you may go astray
Many liars will claim to come in my name
When you see great division upon the land
The times of the Teacher are now at hand
Rejoice! Behold the glory of the Son of Man

We Are Free

If you knew the thief was at door
Would you let him in
If you knew the price you would pay
Would you ever sin
If you knew that the life hereafter
Had streets paved with gold
Would you just keep on keeping on
With all the nonsense you were sold
Today is the day of salvation
Within our hands we hold the key
Filled with joy and jubilation
Jesus the Lord --- has set us free
Gone are all the failings of the past
We are truly free
Gone are the burdens weighing down
A new day for you and me
Gone is the sadness and all the grief
Blessed with the faith to believe
The past has been washed away
It's now a new eve
Today is the day of salvation
Within our hands we hold the key
Filled with joy and jubilation
Jesus the Lord --- has set us free
Today is the day of salvation
All our sins have been wiped away
Hearts filled with joy and jubilation
Jesus the Lord --- has set us free
We are free --- We are free ---
Thank you Jesus!

The Paver

It was yesterday
Healthy and strong
In every way
Now it's today

The past is gone
We try to hold on
To yesterday
But it's today

I'm not one, to dwell on the past
All I know is, it went by too fast

From here on in it's a race downhill
Upward battle with doctors and pills
No guarantees on this road we travel
Yesterdays gone - tomorrow who knows

It was yesterday
Life seemed sweeter
In every way
Not like today

The past is gone
We try to hold on
To yesterday
But there's no way

I'm not one, to dwell on the past
All I know is, it went by too fast

From here on in it's just an uphill battle
With strength enough to carry the load
No guarantees on this road we travel
Yesterday gone - tomorrow, see how it goes
The "Paver" waits - at the end of the road

The American Way

It takes sacrifice for freedom
In the land of liberty
Truth, brought us to this day

Blood, shed through the years
Fallen heroes, all the tears
Misery, is a heavy price to pay

Some say, we've lost our direction
Some say, there's a better way
I say, we need a new connection
Power hears us when we pray

It's our history, the American way

Evil - exists, terrorists - communists
Seek to wipe away America today
Rule with an iron fist, Marxist - Leninist
Hate our history, the American way

If we want our children to be free
We must take a stand for liberty
Truth, brought us to this day

We must not forget the history
Those who gave their lives unselfishly
Power hears us when we pray

It's our history, the American way
It's not that we've lost our direction
It's not that we found a better way
It's that we lost our main connection

Please God! Restore America today

It's our history, the American way
God Bless America, Amen - we pray

Rise

We've all been down
Knocked to the ground
Dazed and confused

Criticized, chastised,
Demoralized
In everything we do

Don't give in
To all the spin
Directed at you

Now is the time
A time to remind
Time to pull through

Rise - go on your way
Your faith has healed you
Rise - to a better day
It's time to start anew

We long for brighter days
Seek to change our ways
Rights that went wrong

There's a better way
Today is the day
Life becomes a song

Rise - go on your way
Your faith has healed you
Rise - to a better day
The power is in you

Rise - and sing a song
Strength is in your hands
Rise - and sing along
Fulfill the Lord's plans

We've all been down
Time to turn it around
Rise - live the good news

Bloom

"Increase our faith"
If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed
I could do many great things through you

"Increase our faith"
Rooted within your faith is your destiny
The fulfillment of my plan for you

"Increase our faith"
They laughed at Noah as he built the Ark
So too they will mock and chastise you

"Increase our faith"
So be strong and do the little things
As a mustard seed, you too shall bloom

I shall increase your faith in you
Through the good works that you do
This is my covenant of truth
My grace shall be poured out anew

Place all of your trust in me
My Love placed you in the womb
Smaller than a tiny mustard seed
Go forth with faith my child, "bloom"

Lord

We are so below you, Lord
Your ways, not our ways
Your thoughts, not ours

You, Lord, are so above us
Seemingly, we do not exist
Yet, you see, and love us

Far as the heavens above
We are so below you, Lord
Distant, as space and time

We are so below you, Lord
Yet, we are one with you
Yes, Lord, we dwell in you

You, Lord, are so great
We are empty without you
Lord, you are great indeed

Nothing exists without you
Creator - Savior - Lover
Father - Son - Holy Spirit

We are so below you, Lord
So in love with you, are we
We are so below you, Lord
Until, Lord, we dwell in eternity

Raised in Glory

Autumn leaves soon will fall
The summer season has past
Time puts limits on all things
Time moves ever so fast

A blanket of winter snow
Entombed within a cast
Unseen is the life below
Will this darkness last

Warmth of springtime flows
And through the fallen leaves
Signs of life begin to peek out
The cycle continues evolving

Beauty seemingly lost forever
Fallen, covered and left for dead
Once entombed within a cast
Time has released from the past

The beauty of nature appears
A new springtime without years
The promise of eternal life
Fallen, covered; Raised in Glory!

One of Mine / Luke: 14 25-33

Many heard him say:

If wish to follow me
Then leave the world behind
Fathers, Mothers, Sisters, Brothers
If you wish to be one of mine

Take up your cross each day
No matter how heavy it may seem
I am with you every step of the way
Place all your hope and trust in me

If you wish to climb the highest mountain
You must be prepared for the journey
If you wish then, to be my disciple
I say, be ready to do battle for me

They will slander, laugh, and mock you
Try to weaken your love for me
I tell you then, if your heart is true
You shall triumph over all, in victory

If you truly wish to be one of mine
Then you must leave the world behind
Take up your cross, be on your way
Many heard him say, and hear him say, today
Goodbye world - I Love You Jesus!

A Lone Warrior

Alone, the old man sits by the busy road
Seen as a lonesome critic, an old fool
Surrounded by pictures of human destruction
A lone warrior in front of the abortion clinic
The dark glass building hides the evil within
Employees walk past him, smiling, laughing
Disheartened he bows, then shakes his head
As the images of horror cry out for justice
Traffic on the busy street quickly passes by
Most seem not to be affected at all
As a car pulls into the driveway, he stands
Armed only with  pictures in his hands
God bless this man out there all alone
So much courage in the face of ridicule
The light turns green, I press on the gas
A lone warrior is reflected in the dark glass
The old man is on a mission of his own
By the roadside he sits there all alone
Surrounded by pictures of human doom
Outside dark glass walls of doom and gloom

America's Divine Destiny

Many say we've lost our way
Living in the shadows of our finest days
Lost our meaning - lost our soul
The spirit is gone - we've lost control
Lord, take us by the hand
Heal our nation - heal our land
We trust in you to save our country
Our destiny resides in your Mercy
We are just an infant nation
We've made mistakes along the way
From generation to generation
Destiny has brought us to this day
Lord, awaken us so will we find you
Only then shall our hearts be true
Lead America back to her Divine Destiny
Divine Mercy transforming her anew
Lord, take us by the hand
Heal our nation, heal our land
Washed in the blood thy Divine Mercy
We shall see - America's Divine Destiny

Only You

Hold my hand, walk with me
Hold my hand, talk to me
Hold me in your arms so I won't stray
Only you --- only you---
Have I told you lately, I long for you
Have I told you lately, I belong to you
Have you heard me calling your name
Only you --- only you---
My child, I called you here
To sit a while in quiet prayer
Many don't hear me call their name
Only you --- only you
I see all that burdens you
The pain and troubles too
There is nothing I wouldn't do for
Only you --- only you ---
Hold my hand, walk with me
Hold my hand, talk to me
In time you will see how much
I love you --- I love you ---
Only you --- only you ---

Lamps Burning On The Ground

If we knew the Son's hour
When His glory and power
Shall manifest for the elect
Coming on clouds of glory
The climax to the story
All things will be made anew
Will he see lamps burning on the ground
Or will the darkness of sin only abound
Will we be ready and burning with desire
For the treasure that sets our souls on fire
Are we ready for Angel's trumpet to sound
Will he see lamps burning on the ground
The day the Kingdom comes
And the Father's Will is done
All things will be made anew
When the glory of God's Son
Fills the hearts of everyone
With the Spirit that is his love
Will he see lamps burning on the ground
Will there be any faith left to be found
Will we be ready and burning with desire
Will our hearts be longing for his loving fire
Will we ready for Angel's trumpet to sound
Will he see lamps burning from the cloud
Will he see lamps burning on the ground

Along The Sand Of The Seashore

Walking along the sand of the seashore
With her arms stretched open wide
Her head lifted up she was singing praises
To heaven through the clear blue sky
As I walked by I heard her utter words
That brought chills down my spine
Saying, "thank you Father for sustaining me"
Then her prayer lifted up with mine
Two people headed in the same direction
With a common thought in mind
Little did we know a heaven connection
Shot like an arrow into the sky
She said, "thank you Father for sustaining me"
As I walked by praying my rosary
At that moment we shared a heaven connection
As our prayers lifted up in the same direction
Walking along the sand of the seashore
Two people singing praises to Father above
As our prayers lifted up in the same direction
To our Father, from two of your children with love!
We thank you Father - for this path of glory
We sing praise you - with this prayerful story
The day our prayers rose into the heavens above
To our Father, from two of your children with love!

Tenderly

In her arms he rests so peacefully
Cuddled in her bosom so tenderly
His eyes aglow beam white as snow
His dimpled chin and tiny nose
Little puffy cheeks, red as a rose
Free from harm in his mother's arms
Tenderly, she gives her baby a kiss
He laughs with joy bubbling with bliss
His little hand gently touches her face
Absorbed in love, in his mother's embrace
Smiling, she softly whispers his name
Two hearts as one burning aflame
She holds the light of Divinity - tenderly
Tenderly, she gives her baby a kiss
He laughs with joy, bubbling with bliss
His little hand gently touches her face
Absorbed in love, in his mother's embrace
Smiling, she softly whispers his name
Two hearts as one burning aflame
She holds the light of Divinity - tenderly
In her arms, peacefully - lovingly - tenderly

Heavenly Father, Through the Divine Mercy of your beloved Son, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; grant us the grace to transform our lives. Only then, shall we your children be able to go forth into the world; a world that has turned its back on you; and be beacons of light and hope. With thy Divine Grace, send thy Holy Spirit into the world to enlighten those in darkness, give sight to the blind, and redirect those who have been led astray by the forces of evil. We ask this of you dear Lord, by the passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on this Divine Mercy Sunday, Amen.

A Prodigal Son
I don't know many saints
But I know my share of sinners
Believe me, I tell you I am one
It's best to love not hate
Easy, hanging with the winners
How about the prodigal sons
It's fair to say, we've all drifted away
Chosen roads with many twists and bends
There comes a day, after loosing our way
We realize, now is the time to make amends
I say, that time is now for me my friend
No, I don't know many saints
Believe me, I know sinners
You can say, I'm a prodigal son
I'm thinking, it's never too late
Consider me a slow beginner
Time to get back to square one
It's fair to say, we've all drifted away
Chosen roads with many twists and bends
There comes a day, after loosing our way
We realize, now is the time to make amends
I say, that time is now for me my friend
No, I don't know many saints
Believe me, I know sinners
I am one - a prodigal son
A fallen one - a prodigal son

Luke 9: 35-36
A voice from the cloud of glory, saying,
"This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!"
A voice from within our heart, saying,
"This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!"
A voice in the depths of our soul, saying,
"This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!"
After the voice had spoken,
Jesus was found alone,
They went silent.
Be silent, be still,
Carry out our Father's will.
Listen to the Father.
Listen to his Son.
Are we listening, are we?
Comfort Zone
In the comfort zone all settled in
All it took was your cooperation
All it took was just one little sin
Now we will begin to play
A game of one's intention
I will guide you along the way
Defend against intervention
Remorse, agitation, sorry, grief
Simple moves to capture a soul
Simply done by the master thief
The goal of course is keep away
Keep away from a repentant end
As many that have gone astray
A repentant's heart on the mend
A scarlet sin made whiter than snow
Such nonsense only a fool believes
Mercy, forgiveness, I say, no-no-no!
Once the game is played I control
This is my comfort zone - you see
No turning back for a wary soul
Forget the empty promises, follow me
Say not, it was not my intention
No one forced you, certainly not I
Oh, however I forget to mention
Once you attempt to play the fool
Judgement will be forced upon you
A sinner you are and will always be
Stay in the comfort zone with me
You will gain the crown of victory
If you play along this game with me
Or caught up in the age old story
Everlasting life and the glory of eternity
Come play in the Comfort Zone with me!!!

I Give You Peace
On stormy days
On restless nights
Do we part ways
Or do we unite
When you call on me I hear
Put to rest all of your fear
Be still, release, I give you peace
Be not afraid
I'll guide your way
Have faith in me
I hear your plea
When you call on me I hear
Put to rest all of your fear
Be still, release, I give you peace
I'll calm the sea
Quiet the nights
Have faith in me
My love unites
When you call on me I hear
Put to rest all of your fear
Be still, not afraid, I give you peace

It Was Springtime
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, through you
The great unknown, seeds were sown, that grew
Amidst the large ones, seemingly standing tall
You were so small, they didn't notice you at all
It was springtime - flowers began to grow
It was springtime - seeds that were sown
It was springtime - new life was everywhere
Springtime - springtime - and you were there
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, through you
Upon the earth, you spread your roots, and grew
Lowly and small, becoming the greatest of all
Standing tall, because you answered the call
It was springtime - flowers began to grow
It was springtime - seeds that were sown
It was springtime - new life was everywhere
Springtime - springtime - and you were there
It was springtime - springtime
It was springtime - springtime
It was springtime - springtime
Springtime - springtime - everywhere
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, everywhere

Suffering
Why does God allow suffering in our world: especially from natural disasters? There are actually people that believe that they have the answer to this question; Pat Robertson is one of these individuals. I for one, do not subscribe to this theory. God is the fullness of love and compassion; so why all these disasters? Regarding evil, this quote:
"God has deemed it better to bring good out of evil than not to permit evil at all."
-- St. Augustine
Does God allow natural disasters, and the subsequent suffering that follows from these events, to occur for the same reason? Could anything positive ensue from such disasters and human suffering? We all have witnessed the horrific human destruction in Haiti; the latest disaster to effect our globe. The loss of life is mind-boggling; the pain and suffering could never be adequately described, it's devastating! So what good could possibly come from this living hell? I don't have a clue.
One thing, however, is the genuine love, compassion, and charity that is being displayed for all to see. People have responded to this event with more urgency then any other that I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. America, once again, leading the relief effort; God bless the United States of America, and all the other nations that have given of themselves and their resources.
There is not a person on the face of the earth that could answer why these events take place. God, in his infinite wisdom allows nature to react naturally, as he intended; Including allowing natural disasters to take place. In the same way he allows human beings to make choices on there own, without interfering.
At times like this, we should not ask ourselves the reason why things take place. I believe, our trust and faith in God, and his wisdom, will ultimately lead us to a better place. In the meantime, we as human beings could only continue to show love, compassion, and charity, to those in need. In God's own time, it shall be made known to us, the answers to the many mysteries we confront on a daily basis.
One day we will find ourselves in a place free from all of suffering and iniquities of this world. At that time, we shall find ourselves in the presence of our Creator, enjoying the eternal joy prepared for us in heaven.

Love and Charity

Why oh Lord, such suffering and pain
In the world today
Why oh Lord, is so much inhumane
In the world today

We have no answers to reasons why
So many people suffer and cry
No answers, but we have faith in you

Why oh Lord, all the endless tears
In the world today
Why oh Lord, the sadness and despair
In the world today

We have no answers to reasons why
So many people suffer and cry
No answers, but we have faith in you

We pray one day we will be set free
No more sadness or human misery
No more crying endless tears of pain
Or feeling our prayers are said in vain
We pray one day we will be set free

We have no answers to reasons why
There's so much suffering in our lives
Oh Lord, we place all our trust in you
As our love and charity shines through
