Mark 16: 1-7

They came to the tomb, at the suns rising

With spices in hand, to anoint his body

Surprised to see the stone was rolled away

Entering the tomb they were amazed

Dressed in a brilliant white robe, a young man

Behold, the place where they laid him

Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified

Has gone into Galilee, as foretold he would rise

Do not be amazed, do not be afraid

Jesus, the Christ is risen today, Alleluia!

I Was Raised A Believer

I was raised a believer, on my daddy's knee
He would tell me stories, of so many things
Stories of life, faith, truth, and mysteries

I was raised a believer --- I still believe

Life is filled with pressure, it's a struggle to survive
Sometimes I'm not sure, how to deal with the jive
Only by the grace of God, one thing remains for me

I was raised a believer --- I still believe

On my daddy's knee, I learned right from wrong
On my daddy's knee, I learned how to get along
On my daddy's knee, a young boy became strong

I was raised a believer --- I still believe

I believe in the Father, I believe in His Son
I believe in salvation, by the shedding of His blood
I believe in the Spirit, He, that dwells in me

I was raised a believer --- I still believe
I was raised a believer --- on my daddy's knee

Walk the Blues of the Crucifixion

He dwelt among them - over two thousand years ago
A larger than life man - today, everyone knows

Jesus, born in a stable, in the town of Bethlehem
A babe, wrapped in swaddling close, the Son of Man
His stepfather Joseph, and his mother, the Virgin Mary
Behold, the infant Jesus, sent to set the captives free

Just an innocent babe - a sign of contradiction
From very beginning - on the road to the crucifixion

At the prime of his life, a young man 33 years old
This man of division, of whom the prophets foretold
He walked among them; he walks with us this day
A message of love, truth, and mercy, paves the way

Just a young man - he suffered much affliction
Continuing his journey - on the road to crucifixion

Betrayed by one of his fold, for thirty pieces of silver
He was handed over, his soul, soon to be delivered
Convicted, beaten, scourged, and forced to carry a tree
He carried his cross, up the hill, on the road to Calvary

He dwelt among them - fulfilling the wise man's prediction
He, the Shepherd of Israel - on the road to the crucifixion

Thrown down, they drove nails through his hands and feet
Lifted him up, there to die between two convicted thieves
His precious blood dripped, till his mission was completed
Father, please forgive them, they know not what they do

He dwelt among them - he walks with us today
The Savior of the world - did rise on the third day

Still today, he continues to be a sign of contradiction
Still today, Christians, walk the blues of the crucifixion

John 8: 31-42

"If you remain in my word, you are mine;
You will know the truth, it will make you free;
If you are in the bondage of sin, remain in me;
You will be free indeed, the Son will make you free;
You seek to kill me, because my word is not in you;
Abraham's children? Yet you do not do Abraham's works;
I have told you the truth, which I heard from God, my Father;
If God were your father, you would love me; I have come from God."

John 8: 21-30

"From the beginning I have told you, I am not of this world;
Where I must go, you cannot not follow me;
When I go away, you will perish in your sin;
You are from this world below, I am from above;
You will die in your sins unless you believe in me;
As the Father has taught me, I speak to you;
He who sent me, is with me, I am not alone;
When you lift up the Son of man, you will know, I Am;
There is much to judge and say to you; but He who sent me is true;
I do nothing on my own authority; the Father is with me;
For I do what is pleasing to Him, so you may believe;
As the Father is with me, I will always be with you; you will never be alone."

Throwing Stones

"Teacher this woman, was found to be in adultery,

The law calls for her to be stoned, what do you say?"

Jesus wrote across the ground with his finger.

The Pharisees tested him to hear what he would say.

"Let him among you without sin, cast away."

One by one, they casted their stones away.

"Woman, where are they now, that condemn you?"

"No one, Lord - no one my Lord, because of you."

"Neither do I condemn you, go on your way, sin no more,

I am the light of the world, the light of eternal life,

Go on your way, sin no more; follow me, sin no more!"

All and All

All and All
Hear my call, have mercy on me
You are the power, you are the glory, set me free

All and All
Hear my call, have mercy on me
You are the power, you are the glory, hear my plea
All and All, Lord and God, rescue me

Many questions, inside of me
Searching for answers too
Daily struggles wear me down
A soul, in need, of rescue

Many mistakes, haunting me
No way for me to ever undo
I call out, to your holy name
A tired soul, in need, of you

All and All
Hear my call, have mercy on me
You are the power, you are the glory, set me free

All and All
Hear my call. have mercy on me
You are the power, you are the glory, hear my plea
All and All, Lord and God, rescue me

All and All
Hear my call, have mercy on me
You are my hope, I'm trusting in you

All and All
Hear my call. have mercy on me
A tired soul, in need, of rescue

All and All - Lord and God - I need you!
All and All - Lord and God - I love you!
