A Lifetime and Beyond

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

At times I wronged someone

Causing pain to another's life

I moved onward blamelessly

Like I never even realized

One day it came back to me

In reality I was not surprised 

What I gave returned to me

Words that changed my life

I forgive you my friend, I do

The look in the eyes never lies

I ask one thing, forgive me too

Healing takes a while, It's time

Blessed are they the merciful

For forgiving another's wrong

For they shall obtain mercy
