Sign of the Times

Many eyes looked up to the sky

An Eagle soared majestically high

Magnificent beauty, gracefully free

Adorned body with massive wings

Extending in opposite directions

Each giving balance to the core

So awe inspiring to watch nature

A sign that we should not ignore

Together we are part of one body

Each with a mission and direction

A feather on one wing or the other

Together as permanent connection

An Eagle needs both wings to fly

A grounded Eagle will not survive

If a damaged wing needs mending

Healing is vital to a happy ending

Many eyes are looking to the sky

Will the Eagle once again soar high

Will the damaged wing seek healing

A sign of the times is truly revealing
