Son of David

Fruit of the Holy Spirit, blessed womb

Joseph, son of David, so confused

An Angel of the Lord spoke in his dream

Don't be afraid, for Mary has conceived

Behold, the virgin shall be with child

She shall bring forth a son, "Immanuel"

For our God is with us at all times

The virgin has conceived the "Christ"

Joseph arose and listened to the angel

Taking the virgin with child as his wife

Though not understanding his call

To father the child that was prophesied

Joseph, son of David, a righteous man

Virgin womb, grace of the Most High

Faithfulness to obey the Father's plan

His name shall be, "Jesus" - the Christ
