I Sigh

Another one of those days
 

Seems nothing is going right

Drifting many different ways

Without any desire to fight


My back at rest upon a wall

The only thing left standing

Bracing me against the fall

My heart is contemplating

Amazing is the faithful guest

Always there shoring me up

As I am about to fail the test

He smiles and passes the cup

So many say there is no joy

The good times have past by

To this older man once a boy

Bowing my head to you, I sigh
