Heaven's Party

He rose that Easter day

Clothed in power and glory

In the flesh he appeared

We have all heard the story

 

The day he rose to Heaven

Upon a cloud star bright

His disciples gazed upon him

As he vanished out of sight


All of Heaven witnessed the Son of Man

Glorified…..as the Father embraced him

Placing upon his head the crown of glory

Yes! Yes! Yes!!!  Rejoiced his mother Mary

She was there with the Angel

She was there in the stable

She was there grieving at Calvary

She was there witnessing victory


She witnessed the glory of her Son

She witnessed the Father’s will done

She witnessed captives set free

She was there…..at Heaven’s party
