From the Heavens

Through the eyes of the Creator, I wonder what he sees

In the beginning it was all good, it was very good indeed 

The earth pristine and full of bounty, a woman and a man

It was good, so very good, the created works of his hands

Looking down on the earth and seeing the demise of souls

Now the nations are divided, and humanity is taking a toll

Truth overcomes in the end, and all will see with their eyes

Everything transformed anew here below and, in the skies,

We need to find a way to exist in peace in our given land

Only then can we extend and reach out to our fellow man

The time is now to take control and heal the senselessness

Only with humility will we see our way through this mess

Today is the day to make a move, tomorrow may be too late

We are in this together if we are to heal and seal our fate 

Through the eyes of the Creator, I wonder what he sees

Watching us from the Heavens; with us I pray he is pleased
