The Father and Son are One

They murmured at him

The son of Joseph, his father

This Jesus, the son of Mary

We know these people

Claiming heaven's inheritance

How can this be possible

He grew among our children

Played with them every day

Murmur not among yourselves

Only the Father can call you

Hear and learn from Him

So it has been prophesied

I am the bread from heaven

Sent by my Father to you

Only He can draw you to me

My Father, only seen by me

It is written in the prophets

The Father knows His children

I am the promise told to you

And I will raise you up one day

Believe; inherit the Kingdom

I am the Bread of Life

Bread which comes from heaven

Eat that you may live forever

My flesh if the life of the world

I freely give it to everyone

Taste and eat the Father's flesh

For the Father and Son are One

Victory or Wrath

The road is wide and darkened

We cannot see down the road

So many people traveling on it

Not seeing where they're going

This is the course of the wise

One of promise and compromise

Where sinners run wild and free

To the finish line of hell's victory

Alongside it runs a rugged path

A gravel road of stumbling stones

Every step once taken weighed

Every breath is a song of praise

A guiding light paving the way

Amidst darkened forces in play

Setting up obstacles for tripping

Gripping temptation for slipping

This is the ultimate tale of two

The wide road paved for fools

And the rugged stumbling path

Path of victory; road to wrath

Sunshine and Grace

 

I went fishin today
May I say wishin today
Hoping for the big one
I didn't get it done

It was a fabulous day
I kept casting away
Not a cloud in the sky
Beneath the sunshine

Gazing out at the sea
t was perfect for me
Away from the rat race
It was amazing grace

Inside my comfort zone
Appearing to be alone
Gazing out at the sea
Fishless; totally free

Just a failed fisherman
I didn't real any in
But I was hooked today
On sunshine and grace

Blown Away by the Christ

Caught in the web of day by day

Weaving in and out along the way
Staying focused remains a chore
We are helpless without the Lord

Simplicity is key to a happy life

Frustration remains a daily fight
At the times our fruit may sour
Leading us to our finest hour

Be free from things binding you

Flying on wings of God's truth
Shine brightly as distant stars
Light heals every lifelong scar

Only in the Lord will we prevail

Detached from all earthly vice
Catch the wind and set sail

Be blown away by the Christ

Eternal Spring

There will come a time

When we close our eyes
We will dream of things
Hear the Angels sing

Many will awaken

As a new day arrives
For some a new dawn
In the light of paradise

Forever absorbing light

In the joys of eternity
The glory filled graces
Longed for embraces

Opened eyes will see

The signs of victory
Eternal joy will reign
Upon Heaven's saved

The day our eyes open

Seeing so many things
In Heaven and on earth

The breath of life in all we do

Expressions of truth and love
Inspirations sent from above

Helping to comfort a friend

Bringing conflict to an end
Revealing truth over time
