Heaven's Stairs

The crowds are so amazing

Full of wonder and surprise

Upon His Holiness...gazing

The faithful are mesmerized

Amidst the joyful pageantry

The glimmer and the bliss

The freedom of Christianity

Proof that Catholicism lives

A melting pot of the faithful

The greatest show on earth

Prayers rising up to Heaven

A time for mercy and rebirth

This spirit filled celebration

Is the battle cry for unity

"In God We trust" Nation

A ray of hope for humanity

The City of Brotherly Love

The Rock of grace appears

Uniting God's people as one

One Race up "Heaven's Stairs"

Heartbeat for the Lord

Everyone loves music

Harmonies; melodies
We enjoy listening to it
Magical keys set us free

In the great unknown

A rhythm is in the air
Hearts beat to the tone
Of grace sweetly clear

It's the love of music

Soulful angelic strings
Poetic words put to it
The joy is everlasting

A whisper in the wind

Like a musical chord
The key note is clear
Heartbeat for the Lord

Rejoice, Rejoice, Rejoice!!!

Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God

Blessed are you that hunger, for you shall be satisfied

Blessed are you that weep, for soon you shall laugh

Blessed are you hated because of me...rejoice, rejoice, rejoice!!!

You will be reviled on account of the Son of Man

They will cast out your name as evil in that day

Behold, be joyful, your reward is great in heaven

Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice...In the Great "I Am"

Woe to you rich, you will receive your consolation

Woe to you satisfied, truly, you will hunger in shame

Woe to you that laugh, you shall mourn and weep

Woe to you sinners, ripe in transgressions to reap

Leap and be joyful, your reward is great in heaven

The blessed needy, the hungry, and the weeping

The Lord has seen your tears and heard your cries

Blessed are they that hear his voice...rejoice, rejoice, rejoice!!!

Force of hopes and dreams
In the air nature breathes

Living Bread

Living Bread came down from heaven

The flesh for the life of the world

From the womb of the Blessed Virgin

Came the Christ child; came the Word

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord

My spirit rejoices in God my Savior

He has looked with favor on his lowly servant

Blessed be the name of the Lord

Amen, eat of his body; drink his blood

His flesh is true food; his blood is true drink

Body and blood for the life of the world

Food for the journey to life everlasting
