Smiling In Heaven

Just a young boy, thirteen years old

Overcome, surrendered his soul

The battle raged, family by his side

Until he breathed his last, and died

The Child - Is the Son of God

God sent forth Gabriel, to a virgin,

She was to Joseph, his wife to be

A rich man, well dressed, living in luxury

A poor man asked him, for something to eat

He laughed, and said, "Get away from me"

The poor man, continued, down the street

Time passed, they moved on to the other side

The poor man, at once, entered paradise

The rich man, however, was not found there

He never took time, to prepare, he never cared

Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
"Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;
give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back."

The Field of Battle

The field of battle between God and Satan is the human soul. It is in the soul that the battle rages every moment of life. The soul must give free access to the Lord so that it may be fortified by Him in every repect and with all kinds of weapons; that His light may enlighten it to combat the darkness of error; that it may be clothed with Jesus Christ. To be clothed with Jesus Christ it is necessary to die to oneself. That which comes from Satan begins with calmness and ends in storm, indifference, and apathy. In the spiritual life he who does not advance goes backward. It happens as with a boat which always must go ahead. If it stands still the wind blows it back. A sign of discipline

Love for countryman

A culture deeply rooted

In the nation of Japan

Disaster, unthinkable

Suffering, unspeakable

Despair, everywhere

Earth shaken to its core

Power plants melting down

Radiation abounds

Life turned upside down

In the nation of Japan

A Tsunami rages in

Swallowing the land

Lives must begin again

In the nation of Japan

We see the misery

Grief, pain, suffering

Compassion and dignity

In the nation of Japan

What will tomorrow bring

Will flowers bloom in spring

Will nature begin flourishing

Mother earth stop shaking

From all this turmoil

Affected water, air, soil

A sign from this ancient land
