Tributes to all the angels whisked away

Candle lit walkways; nestled in shrines

Flowers, gifts, cards and poetic rhymes

Outpouring, beautiful heartfelt displays

Pictures of the innocence lost that day

Quiet sadness fills the brisk country air

As mourners pass slowly by; many tears

It's Christmas in Sandy Hook, Newtown

This tiny picturesque Connecticut town

Oh Holy Night; hoping, praying, believing

Dear Baby Jesus, send a miracle healing

The people here are longing for peace

A half a world away the "Infant" speaks

Cradled in arms of the Queen of peace

Comes words of healing; "I am your peace"

He will never leave us alone in our tears

Never leave us alone to conquer our fears

Will not let the joy of Christmas day cease
In the arms of the Queen,"I am your peace"

The "I-Promise" for Christmas

 

 

I-Promise: To place God first in my life. To honor and respect His will and to follow the Divine Laws of the Ten Commandments.

I-Promise: To love my family with all of my heart and soul. To give of my self tirelessly for their welfare and protection.
I-Promise: To give honor to my Country. To be a Patriot and to follow all just laws of the land.
I-Promise: To love my neighbor as myself. To reach out to those in need and to support the community as best I can.
I-Promise: To live out my faith. To share the love I have been so blessed with, and to be a light to those in darkness.
I-Promise: To live with dignity. To use the gifts and talents that I have been blessed with to support the well-being of my family.
I-Promise: To take time during the day to pray. To stay in tuned with the needs of those with whom I share my earthly existence.
I-Promise: To keep life real. To remove myself from the electronic fantasy land. To speak face to face and shake a hand.
I-Promise: To be understanding. To never put down, but, to lift up others and to give hope where despair exits.
I-Promise: To Keep my Promise. Ten Promises of truth. In doing so, the "Great I-AM" shall heal our broken land - I-Promise!!!

An ocean of tears are falling; numbing pain and disbelief

An entire Nation is in mourning; Nations share our grief
Heartfelt emotions; senseless, a day evil had its way

Dear Lord, gather into the arms of your perfect Love

All of the beloved angels that were suddenly taken away
Comfort the families of all the victims of this horrific day
Lord, in the arms of perfect Love, your children rest safe

Dear Lord, for our neighbors; please give them peace
Dear Lord, for all the families; comfort in this time of grief
Dear Lord, for the children; restore the innocence torn away
Dear Lord, for the teachers; guardianship over their angles
Dear Lord, for the little ones; tenderness of perfect Love
