Eternal Revelation

Holy Spirit, rain down upon your people

Graces and mercy from heaven above
For, we your children, wander endlessly
Searching for peace; seeking true love

In Jerusalem, there was a man, Simeon

Blessed with a Spirit filled revelation
That he would not enter eternal rest
Until his eyes beheld God's beloved Son

We keep searching; endlessly seeking

Our eyes grow tired; our hearts cold
Failing to see the revelation before us
Seen though faithful eyes centuries old

Holy Spirit, rain down upon your people

The light of life, to witness our salvation
That we may live peace; rejoice in love
The Divine, eternal revelation; God's Son
