The Spirit of Love

Troubling seeing the numbers so low

Standing room only a short time ago

On the run chasing life and dreaming

This reality we are seeing is revealing

Controversy is a tool inside the plan

Confusion in the mind controls a man

Lust makes the empty heart a slave

Only freedom within a soul can save

It is time to return and not to roam

Back to a place that once was home

Rest aside all anger and bitterness

Come home and taste the sweetness

The doors are opened; hearts are too

Welcome into the joys of lasting truth

No place or passion will ever compare

To the Spirit of Love awaiting there

For Heaven's Sake

We're heading into overload
How much more can we take
Watching the snake lies roll
We fight on for heaven's sake

The system is doing so well
But insiders keep on drifting
A story line rising out of hell
Is anyone out there listening

We keep on for heaven's sake
Never troubled or dismayed
Slivers of life make up the cake
The icing seals all the breaks

There is a new spirit in place
So many are caught in the race
But the true Spirit is in the run
Pouring out the glory of the Son

So if you can't bear it anymore
Reach down in your very core
At that moment you will awake
Living on.....for Heaven's sake

Submit to God's Might

 

There is real evil in the world today

Destroying peace and having its way

Setting roadblocks to deny freedom

Spirits of evil, but do we see them

How many of us live lives of scorn

Even asking why we were ever born

We allow forces to have their way

Weakened, we submit to their ways

We've entered into troubling times

Away from times of nursery rhymes

We must all unite and keep it real

One voice, one heart, seal the deal

Together as one we shall overcome

Darkness will vanish away from sight

And one day the victory will be won

Evil will flee; Submit to God's Might

Changing My Ways

The Lord is my Shepherd

He is my Redeemer too

He enlightens my heart

He asked me about you

Lord, why do you ask me

About the lonely and lost

The sick and the needy

Lord, why.....why ask me

I graze in green meadows

Gaze upon crystal streams

Far away from the ghettoes

And all the urban extremes

The life outside of my shell

Is living in my brother's hell

Am I filled with any shame

When I scoff at their pain

The Shepherd is calling me

While I graze; while I gaze

Patiently waiting; lovingly

Quietly, changing my ways

 

Game On

 

Set aside all the shame

Get back in the game

Be open to forgiveness

Rise up; be a witness

Hope is the key to life

The release of strife

A new day is upon us

All we need is to trust

He is patiently waiting

Longing our embracing

Seeking to set us free

Release us from misery

Decide for lasting love

Live truth from above

Get back in the game

He is calling your name

Wait not for tomorrow

Be healed from sorrow

Cleansing heats anew

Game on, make a move

I Am God!!!

 

Listen to the quiet of the heart

Be silent and enjoy the harmony

Enter into the meditative things

Enjoy the everlasting symphony

Let your lips not utter any word

Chatter will clutter and deceive

Silence provides the lasting cure

Allowing the soul to remain free

The noise of the world creeps in

Leads us into temptation and sin

Deafening the silence of solitude

Separation from the voice within

Absorbed in calm of peacefulness

And stricken by the solitude rod

Enter in the quiet of eternal bliss

Be still, and know.....I Am God!!!

We all can see the dangers that exist

The good old days are sorely missed

It's not the time for us to sit idly by

We are Christian Soldiers of the Christ

We are living in the age of Martyrs

As evil is playing out its sinful hand

This is the time for faithful leaders

We are Christian Soldiers of the Christ

The answer is found within our Creed

Holding on to truths that we believe

We must be willing to pay the price

We must raise our voices and be heard

Witness to the freedom of God's Word

Our faith calls out for us to sacrifice
