Brothers and sisters: You once were alienated and hostile in mind because of evil deeds: God has now reconciled you in the fleshly Body of Christ through his death, to present you holy, and without blemish, and irreproachable before him, provided that you persevere in the faith, firmly grounded, stable, and not shifting from the hope of the Gospel that you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, am a minister.
Consideration: Paul, a minister of the Lord, Jesus; and the once persecutor of Jesus, speaks of redemption. We too, have turned our backs on the Lord, but have been washed anew in the blood of the Lamb. Today we are called to persevere through all of the turmoil and trials of this world; this is easier said than done. Put on the armor of faith in the Lord, and the freshness of a new beginning will transform your life, and those around you. Amen.
