I felt that I was dreaming
It was so beautiful there
Everyone was so happy
Joyous music in the air

Colorful faced bouquets
In the Spirit of the Dove
Filled with amazing grace
Absorbed by utter love

The feeling was magical
A gathering center piece
It was out of this world

Their eyes are fixed on eternity

Walking amidst hovering spirits

Darkening their way to destiny

We journey many winding roads

Reaping blessings we have sown

Though we may carry heavy loads

Our eyes stay focused on home

Just let God's light shine through

Through the darkness facing you

To the light setting captives free

There are so many pretty faces

Smiles as white as winter snow

Dressed in all the latest fashions

With hearts that are stone cold

We are just pieces of a dream

Each one with a story to be told

Yet behind all the clutter we see

Reveals the rainbow's pot of gold

The distance between separation

Is only as far as the eye can see

The union of all that divides us

Smiling faces living God's graces

There is a new spirit in place

But the true Spirit is in the run
Pouring out the glory of the Son

There is real evil in the world today

Destroying peace and having its way

Setting roadblocks to deny freedom

Spirits of evil, but do we see them

How many of us live lives of scorn

Even asking why we were ever born

We allow forces to have their way

Weakened, we submit to their ways

We've entered into troubling times

Away from times of nursery rhymes

We must all unite and keep it real

One voice, one heart, seal the deal

Together as one we shall overcome

Darkness will vanish away from sight

And one day the victory will be won

Evil will flee; Submit to God's Might

Changing My Ways

The Lord is my Shepherd

He is my Redeemer too

He enlightens my heart

He asked me about you

About the lonely and lost

The sick and the needy

I graze in green meadows

Gaze upon crystal streams

Far away from the ghettoes

And all the urban extremes

The life outside of my shell

Is living in my brother's hell

Am I filled with any shame

When I scoff at their pain

The Shepherd is calling me
