Our Lady of Medjugorje

June 25, 2014 will mark a very special day in the history of mankind. It may very well usher in the beginning of the final battle against good and evil. On this day thirty three years ago, a tremendous grace was bestowed upon the world by our heavenly Father. This grace came in the form of a beautiful woman, the woman clothed with the sun-- Our Lady of Medjugorje, the Queen of peace.

Today, we live in a world where peace no longer exists. It seems the whole world has reached its boiling point. Wars continue to explode in every direction on the globe. Persecutions of innocent Christians have become widespread, leaving many left as martyrs due to their faith. In addition to this crime against humanity, lawlessness, corruption, greed, and the lust for power have reached the point of no return. No country or nation is exempt from darkness that has brought us to the brink of destruction.

Alas, we need not despair. The remedy for every problem facing us today is, the irony of it all, Mary, the Queen of Peace. She has come to light the way of truth and to prepare us to encounter the glory of her son, Jesus. Her message is simple: repent for our sinful ways and return to her son. If we pray and seek out God’s mercy and forgiveness, healing will come. However, if we choose to continue defying the Will of God, and refuse to obey His laws and the natural order, we shall perish. The choice is clear, and the battle line has been drawn in the sand. There is only one way to mend the brokenness in our troubled world-- Mary!

The Lamb of God lived among us for thirty three years as Redeemer and Savior. Now, he has allowed his mother to be among us for thirty-three years, giving messages to lead us to her son, Jesus, and to eternal life. June 25, 2014 may simply come and go as another day in the history of mankind, yet one thing remains certain-- tremendous graces will be poured out on that day. Let us, as one people, armed with rosary beads in hand, lift up our voices in prayer for peace.  Mary, Queen of Peace…Pray for us!

Look Around

Look around; see the tears

Suffering, pain, and grief
Such a sense of uncertainty
Questions without answers

People searching for direction

Seeking a place of utter calm
Sincere smiles; total realness
Look around for possibilities

It all starts with being true

A little smile to a stranger
Waiting while opening a door
Watch another walk through

The phone is a loveless line

Voices from faraway places
Cherish the gift of the times
You look upon smiling faces

Look around; empty the fears

A life of joy is awaiting you

Peace rests within our hands

Look around, and if you do???

 

Giant of a Man

He talked to me of many things...I listened

Taught me about everything...from his heart

Never swaying from the truth...always real

He was the giant of my life...the real deal

His sense of humor - still keeps me laughing

Timeless is the cleaver wit of this humble man

A loving heart, compassionate and forgiving

When I said, "I can't," he said, "yes you can"

He always made me think; sometimes twice

Left me scratching my head; I'm still scratching

These were life lessons that he was teaching

To this day from his divine wisdom I am reaping

Thank you my Lord and God for this treasure

One never to be diminished or taken away

For I have become just a minuscule measure

Of this giant of a man with you this day

Sense of it All

 

How long will you let me search Lord

How many times will you allow me fall

How long will I feel broken and beaten

Please! Save me from the pain of it all

I lack the strength to carry my cross

I am calling out to the only one I trust

The one that has walked in my shoes

My Redeemer; Savior, righteous and just

Life is beautiful, but filled with troubles

New battles fought every passing day

Though there are times I feel so alone

I know you always hear me when I pray

How much longer will I drift and sway

How long before I heed your loving call

How long will it take me to find my way

Please Lord! Help me make sense of it all

Earth's Side of Heaven

These are trying times

So much pain; all the crime

People living in fear

How much more can we bear

Looking for sunshine

To pierce through the clouds

Searching for an answer

Seeking truth lost in time

Listen for the rhythm

The bass beat of the heart

Where music is silence

And grace is food for the soul 

Bask in the sunshine

Melodies are yet to be written

Harmony is God's rhyme

On the earth's side of heaven

The Heart of the USA

 

There are storm winds blowing today

Clouds of deception across the USA
Nature soon will be turning up the heat
Reaching the boiling point on the street

The wolves are coming out of the woods

Their eyes fixed intently upon our goods
The power play is ripe for the picking
Their deceitful intentions are sickening

Turning a brother against his brother

Children against their father and mother
Under the guise of equality and fairness
Those with more against those with less

Forces of evil devising a cunning plan

The sword of division; man against man
All the while they are painted as caring
While simmering doom is clearly nearing

This Nation takes care of their fellow man

We will rise above the deceit of this plan
These raging storms too will pass away
Love reigns deep in the heart of the USA

Armor of the Wise

I sense a special feeling

There is a buzz in the air
Though seeing is believing
I feel your presence near

I hear a call within my soul

This hunger I must feed
There is a story to be told
This fire burning within me

The clock is ticking faster

Time is drifting out to sea
The plan of a loving Master
Is unfolding for all to see

A tremendous time of grace

As truth is being revealed
Evil is showing its ugly face
As our fates are being sealed

True faith is being tested

The faithful are taking sides
Believers are being vested
With the armor of the wise
