The Face of Success

Success does not always show its face at once for others to see. It may lie dormant for a time before its fruit blossoms. Trophies collect dust on the shelves and certificates of achievement become like old wallpaper of a life passed by. Energy once spent to achieve a goal, has long been nurtured within the soul. It has never needed to be dusted off and is not a relic of an era gone by. Success is not something one achieves, success is what one gives away --- give away to others what has been nurtured within your heart and soul. The fruit of success is love; love is the face of success.  

A Beating Heart

"Arise," said the angel in his dream 

Take the child and his mother...flee

Into a foreign land this night depart

Evil seeks this child's beating heart

Destruction of all the little children

Fallen away by the sword of death

Snatched away by a senseless sin

The end of life and holy innocence

Arise, guardians of the Most High

Awake from this horrific nightmare

No longer can life stand idly by

While countless lives just disappear

This night the angel is crying out

Tears are raining down from heaven

In this joyful season of forgiving

Protect the sacredness of living

Holy innocence must be renewed

Beating hearts born for this time

A beating heart is in need of you

Dinosaurs roam free

Nibbling on leaves of trees

Lions lay down with lambs

Cuddled with their little ones

So amazing is this to see

All the violence has passed

Hatred and anger gone at last

Evil vanished out of sight

Nestled within the straw

Children gathered in awe

Gazing upon the little Lamb

His eyes beaming forth

Wide open, bright as snow

One day every eye shall see

Mother Mary's little Lamb

In this place of peace

The Babe

Beneath the twinkling of a star

Within a stable the Spirit flowed

Three Kings traveled from afar

With frankincense, myrrh and gold

Adoring a Babe in swaddling clothes

Of whom the choirs of angles sing

Releasing from bondage all lost souls

The Babe; Savior and King of Kings

Twinkling star in the skies above

The light of God beaming forth

A Child born of the Father's love

Resetting a world drifting off course

Son of God; Son of Man, the Lamb

A child of peace; a child of love

Son of the Father the great "I Am"

Sleeping beneath a star - The Babe

Son of David

Fruit of the Holy Spirit, blessed womb

Joseph, son of David, so confused

An Angel of the Lord spoke in his dream

Don't be afraid, for Mary has conceived

Behold, the virgin shall be with child

She shall bring forth a son, "Immanuel"

For our God is with us at all times

The virgin has conceived the "Christ"

Joseph arose and listened to the angel

Taking the virgin with child as his wife

Though not understanding his call

To father the child that was prophesied

Joseph, son of David, a righteous man

Virgin womb, grace of the Most High

Faithfulness to obey the Father's plan

His name shall be, "Jesus" - the Christ

Come Holy Spirit

Brand your name upon my heart

Infuse your light through my soul

Give me a fresh start

Allow your grace to take hold

Shower blessings down upon me

Come forth from the Father

The Creator of all life

Be Straight

This is the time to be straight

No more time for us to hesitate

The Kingdom of God is at hand

A line of truth drawn in the sand

Make ready the way of the Lord

This is the time we were born for

Voices crying out his Holy name

The Christ is coming, be straight

Repent; be set free from all sin

No matter where you have been

Be cleansed from every desire

The Holy Spirit will set you on fire

The dawning of a glorious season

His saving grace is the reason

Lift your voices; proclaim his name

The time is at hand --- be straight!

No one knows the day 

The time of the Son of Man

We all keep moving on

With our lives the best we can

So many mountains to climb

Many seeds left to sow

Thinking a little back in time

The day Noah entered the boat

They were eating and drinking

Marrying and being merry

Having such a good old time

As if life was never ending

Same old place a different time

But it is the same story line

Living carefree and doing fine

Seduced by power and lights

Therefore people be ready

Or your house will be broken into

If you knew the thief was coming

You would do what you need do

Open up your eyes and see

Keep a lookout for eternity

This may be the glorious night

Of the Lambs - Love, Power and Might

"Lord, remember me, in your Kingdom"

Cried aloud from the fruitful tree

Those condemned by men shall rise

"Christ the King" hears their every cry

The saved, shall find rest, in "Paradise"

Hell Hails Sin

Hell hails sin; we have all been sucked in

Lost is the core of the soul; human dignity

Belief in one true God; the laws of nature

A mandate of a man ----- "Yes we can"

Goodbye to all of the joy and jubilation

Goodbye to a once, "God fearing Nation"

Contraception, abortion, and sterilization

A people on a one way road to damnation

Hell mandates deviation from the mission

Turning all away from God's ultimate plan

To give oneself to life, liberty, and freedom

Hailing mandates; forcing demands on man

People, we need to take a deep look within

Religious freedom for all, is a God given gift

Pray, and flee from all temptation and sin

The HHS mandate is about to suck us in!!!

Live a Dream

A little story of the people, the people I love

To tell you how much they mean to me, so much!

They're all in the air that I breathe, every one

My family is my life, because in Jesus - we love!

So many say that we are blessed, they're right

We struggle like everyone else, yes, we fight

But, when push comes to shove, we let it all go

We know, that through love, together, we grow

They are the reason, that we've lived this grace

Life is such a joy, when we are together as family

Life is a joy, because Jesus, is the air we breathe

Scattered rubble lifted with grace
